Leap of Faith Memory Moments

The book Leap of Faith by Jamie Blair had a lot of memory moments in it. Faith remembered many things when she ran away to Florida to start a new life. According to Leap of Faith by Jamie Blair it says, "On the way home, I mentally catalog everything I've lost: My dad. I have a vague memory of him from when I was really little, like maybe three. We're sitting on a coach somewhere. A TV's on, NASCAR, I think. The memory carries the distant sour smell of beer and B.O. I want to say that he read me a book at bedtime, but I might be making that part up." This explains how Faith was remembering her childhood with her dad. She remembers what she used to do with her dad and what her house smelled like. She was having a memory moment from years ago when she was three years old. This was one memory moment Faith had in the book
There were many memory moments but another memory moment was when the book stated, "I think about home, the feel of the dirty, gummy carpet under my feet, the water that smells like rotten eggs and turns the toilet bowl orange, the smell of smoke that clings to my clothes and hair." This explains how Faith was thinking about her home and what it was like. She was having a memory moment she hated. She was thinking about that one place she did not like which was home. She did not miss the feeling of her home or the smell of her home. She was remembering her mother and what it was like living with her. So that was another memory moment Faith had in the book.
