Biggest Fears

After reading part of The Outsiders I realize how tough the characters act but how every one of them has a fear. Even the socs. fear something. The socs. act like they don't fear anything but when they saw that Johnny killed someone..... They ran away as fast as they could showing how frightened they were. Everyone in the gang is afraid of something. Soda has real feelings too and you can tell this when he had his horse taken away. He cried so much and he feared losing the horse which he did. Reading this book I noticed that Darry fears something too. He tries to take care of Ponyboy and he makes sure nothing happens to him. Even Ponyboy acts all tough when really he is scared of many things too. He acts tough and that he doesn't fear anything but he fears losing people and even fears the socs. When he encountered the socs. In the beginning he remembered what happened to Johnny and he just froze because he was so frightened. Surprisingly even Dally fears losing people he loves. Dally doesn't care about anything or anyone first of all but when Johnny died at the end he totally broke down and even let himself get killed. This shows that Dally did care and also feared something. So, almost every character in this book acts tough when they all have a fear of their own.
