My Heritage

In Romania it can be similar to America in some ways. For example, the holidays are no different than the ones from here. We celebrate Christmas, Easter, Halloween, and other holidays too. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving or 4th of July though because Romania is in Europe. There are a lot of different things in Romania that are different from here though. Money for example is different in every place in the world. If Romania instead of dollars we have "lei". 5 lei would be around $1.27 which is not a lot. 1 leu is not much at all. It would be only $0.26 which is not much at all. When you think of $50 that seems like a lot because it is but 50 lei would only be $12.72 in the U.S. It seems like a lot of money but when you compare lei to dollars it's not much at all.
